    Record a Story and Song: Frosty the Snowman is a recordable storybook and songbook that enables family members and friends to read a beloved story and sing a song to a child even when they are thousands of miles apart. In addition, a child can be recorded reading the story and singing the classic song about Frosty the Snowman, the book becoming keepsake for years to come. The voice recording is permanent and will not be lost when the book s batteries are changed. The product is designed for children ages 18 months and older.Record a Story and Song: Frosty the Snowman is easy to set up. Follow these directions: Turn to the page you wish to record. Press the RECORD button. Listen to the instructions. When you hear a beeping sound, read the words on the page. After you finish reading the page, press STOP. You can re-record until you are satisfied with the recording. Repeat the process with the remaining pages of the book, including the Frosty the Snowman song. You can also record a personalized message on the dedication page. Set the locking switch behind the screw-on plate to ensure that your recording won t be inadvertently erased. Three replaceable AAA batteries that power the sound module are included with Record a Story and Song: Frosty the Snowman. Please note that in order for the book to function properly it must be recorded on a flat surface and in a well-lit area, so that the holes located on the right side of the book have an unobstructed view of a light source. The same conditions are also required for proper playback.
